Adult Secondary Credit
The Adult Secondary Credit Program is for the adult learner who is working towards a general diploma by completing course curriculum on the Edgenuity (E2020) software program.
To enter this program, you must have documentation that proves you have earned at least 38 credits. Participants must earn a total of 42 credits which include all of the state and local requirements.

English Language Learners
We offer tutoring and class instruction for English language learners who request it.
High School Equivalency
Students enter this free study class to prepare to pass the official HSED Test (TASC). Registration and TABE testing are required.
Morning classes: 9:00–11:45 a.m., Monday through Thursday
Afternoon classes: Noon–2:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday
Evening classes: 5:30–8:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday
Online Virtual HSE Classroom: Monday through Thursday, based on student needs.
We offer the official High School Equivalency Test (HSE) twice a month. Please see our calendar for the dates. You may now take the official test at age 16 with proof you have passed a readiness test.
Literacy Tutoring
Volunteer tutors from the community help JCEC clients who test below the 5th-grade level learn literacy skills. Clients many set up tutoring sessions in the JCEC office. We do our best to serve all our clients, based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Integrated Education & Training Opportunities
Using a service approach, JCEC provides adult education and literacy activities simultaneously and contextually with workforce preparation activities and workforce training for a specific occupational cluster. Contact us for a current listing of IET opportunities.

An integrated system of instruction and coaching designed to build and strengthen a client’s soft skills.

In order to access our Online Learner Registration Form, you will need have Adobe Reader available on your computer. If you do not currently have this program, you may download the free Adobe Acrobat program using the link below and then follow the additional steps in order to register online.
Please click on the registration form below. Download the form by clicking the download icon in the upper-right corner. You will see a pop-up window where you can decide where to save this document onto your computer. Once downloaded, open your file manager, find the document, and double-click it. If you have downloaded Adobe Acrobat, it will automatically open the document into that system. Once you have completed the form, save the file to your computer and email the completed form to both dbentz@jcsc.org and ccross@jcsc.org. Also, call (812) 346-2905 to set up your TABE appt.
